I love the CBS-NBC transition as shown here. There was no demolition of a venerable logo long familiar in Philadelphia, but instead a more gentle transition through a dazzling replacement. Obviously the call letters and city would remain the same. In one moment a CBS frequency became an NBC frequency. This is done with dignity.
