The orange glow of the early evening cast it’s soft light over the Isle of Berk. The wind from the sea carried with it the salty smell of high tide as it rose to meet the rocks. Flocks of Monstrous Nightmares dotted the sky above, returning from that evening’s hunt, their gullets full of fish. Gronckles and Deadly Nadders could be heard squawking and grunting in the town below, bustling about with the residents of Berk as they headed to the main hall for a well earned meal after a hard days work. Ever since the dragons had moved in, the need to expand and build housing for everyone, and construction had been steadily coming along.

Hiccup, son of the chief and originator of the peace between man and dragon on Berk, looked out from his workshop above the blacksmith shop. Taking a break from his work to look out over the village, he took a deep breath, enjoying the tranquility that he had helped create. His other half and best friend, the dragon Toothless, was curled up in the corner sleeping, having been worn out after a long day. Most of Hiccup and Toothless’s days were spent inventing and experimenting. With his work no longer gathering the ire it once did, he had the freedom to work as they pleased, and his new designs for the dragons’ roosts that were currently under construction. He turned to head back to his work desk, only to jump in surprise at the sight of Ruffnut, one of his friends and member of the new batch of dragon riders. Hiccup’s small frame didn’t cast a long shadow, especially on Ruffnut, who was tall and slender, her prominent chin beguiling a wry smirk.

“Uh, Ruffnut, hello. Did you, uh, need something,” he said shifting nervously, as she stepped towards him.

“Oh, you know,” Ruffnut played with her hair and gave him a look that was probably supposed to be alluring, but wound up looking like constipation, “I was wondering if you’d care to join us at the main hall for dinner. Everyone’s been wondering where you’ve been.”

“Well, I’ve been up to the usual,” Hiccup shimmied towards his desk, stumbling into the chair as she made her advance towards him, “Just, um, working on things for the...” he gulped hard as she kept moving closer, her scent reeking of fish and Zippleback gas.

     “Ruffnut! What are you doing?”

From the other end of the workshop where the stairs were, Astrid had appeared, grimacing at the sight of Ruffnut making an advance on Hiccup. Her outburst had woken up Toothless, who was eagerly bestowing slobbery kisses on Hiccup.

“Hey Bud! Did you have a good nap,” he tried to hide behind Toothless from the gazes of both women, “Oh boy, I’ve been working so hard on these new plans, I’m starving. You must be hungry after such a long nap, come on, let’s go get dinner, what do you say?”

Toothless eagerly jumped up and down and Hiccup grabbed ahold of him, bolting downstairs and out the door, not stopping to think about the storm that was brewing in his workshop. As the shadow of a boy and his dragon made its way towards the main hall, as the amber evening light shone in through the workshop as the two girls stared each other down, Ruffnut bearing a confident smirk, Astrid gritting her teeth with simmering fury.

“What in Odin’s name were you to Hiccup,” Astrid snarled.

“Oh, you know, just staking my claim.”

     “Claim?”

“Oh, I didn’t know you two were a thing. I should have made a bigger. Like ravishing his little body behind the dragon stables kind of move.”

“You, what,” Astrid said, a look of confusion and disgust coming over her face, “He’s my boyfriend!”

“Yeah, for now. He’ll be mine soon enough.”

Astrid could hardly believe what she was hearing, finding herself more confused than anything else.

“Look Astrid, he’s going to be chief someday, and when that day comes, he’s going to need someone who’s not only a great warrior and dragon rider, but the hottest woman in the village. Which, let’s face it, is me,” Ruffnut said as she leaned on Hiccup’s work bench in suggestive pose, her lanky body draped over it with all the grace of dead eel.

Astrid’s brow furrowed with determination as she walked up, and with little effort knocked one of Ruffnut’s feet away, causing her to lose her balance and fall.

“If you think I’m going to let Hiccup go without a fight, you are gravely mistaken.”

Ruffnut looked up and gave a leering, mischievous smile.

“I was hoping you’d say that,” she said, righting herself up, “What do you say to a contest?”

     “A...a contest...for Hiccup?”

“Exactly. What do think? Are you up for the challenge, or is my uncontainable beauty too much for you,” she said, cocking her hips and licking her lips.

     Astrid stepped forward defiantly.

     “Name the time and place.”

“I was hoping you’d say that. Meet me tomorrow afternoon at the main hall, an hour before dinner, and come with an empty stomach.”

A puzzled expression came over Astrid’s face, but it quickly faded as she stepped forward.

     “Consider your little challenge accepted.”

“Great,” said Ruffnut, slinking past her towards the stairs, “I’ll see you then.”

Astrid watched her leave, knowing full well that she was ready for anything that she had planned.

The following afternoon, Astrid arrived promptly at the main hall. It was deserted, sans Ruffnut, who was waiting at a table, a shaft of light illuminating her devilish smirk, as well as two giant plates of meat. A variety of steaks, chops, and sausages, all piled high. Astrid approached the table, folding her arms and cocking her hips with confidence.

“Okay, I’m here. What did you have in mind for this little contest?”

“Simple,” she said, pulling one of the plates over to her, “an eating contest. Whoever eats the most gets Hiccup.”

Astrid was shocked, her mouth agape with and her eyes wide.

     “That’s it?”

“Yeah, that’s how my mom did it. I figured I’d do the same.”

“What do mean your mo-...Ugh, fine, whatever. I just have to eat more than you?”

“Sure, but if you want to walk away, I’d understand. I’d intimidate me, too.”

Astrid sat down slowly and deliberately across from Ruffnut and pulled her plate over to her, all the while staring her down. Without even blinking, she picked up a large muttonchop, and bit out a huge chunk, chewed, and swallowed it down with a big gulp. Ruffnut’s smile faded as she mirrored Astrid’s actions, picking up a big sausage and stuffing as much of it as she could in her mouth, gulping it down nice and slow. The contest had begun.

After the first bite, their eating speed gradually increased. Astrid in particular was moving very fast, her adrenaline kicking as she shoveled bite after bite down her gullet, barely chewing as she filled herself up. Bite after bite, feeling the hot, juicy meat and smoked sausage expand her belly as she swallowed more and more. She was eating so fast, powering through as much as could, but when she was about halfway through, she started to slow down. Her chewing slowed, her swallowing became more forced. Her stomach had swollen up considerably, bloating outwards over the top of her skirt, and she could feel her leggings underneath stretching to contain her new mass. It gurgled loudly as she rubbed it with both hands, feeling how rock hard it was underneath her shirt. She let out a tired, long belch, and looked up at Ruffnut, who was a little over halfway done. She had that same wicked grin on her long face, and she gulped down one last bite before standing up and walk around the table, taking her sweet time as Astrid’s belly groaned louder and louder under the weight of its contents. She slinked her way towards her and draped her arms around her, when she suddenly squeezed Astrid’s belly, causing her to burp loudly again. Her burp was followed by a pained moan.

“Awe, do you have tummy ache,” Ruffnut giggled, “You certainly did eat a lot, but...it looks like you didn’t quite beat me.”

Astrid looked at their plates, and it was only by a slight margin, but Ruffnut had eaten more than her.

“Haha, do you want to try and eat a little more?”

Astrid looked at the plate of meat, and at the mere thought of eating more, her belly groaned in protest as she let out another belch.

     “UUUURRRRP!”

“Hahaha, I guess that does it. I win. Hiccup is all mine.”

Ruffnut lifted her shirt to reveal her distended belly, which was also stuffed to capacity. Her once slender frame had filled out with all the food packed inside of her. Her skin was stretched to capacity, her belly button on the verge of popping out. She grabbed Astrid’s head and pressed it against it.

“Mmm, can you hear that? BURP! That’s the sound of my victory digesting away. I think I might get my new boyfriend to give me a belly rub.”

Astrid’s face turned red as she heard Ruffnut’s tummy gurgling away at its large meal.

“You see Astrid, this is the kind of gut you need if your a real woman. When the time comes for me to bear Hiccup’s children, he’ll be pleased to know that I have the kind of hot body that can carry the future of Berk. Don’t worry, I’m sure with practice, you’ll be able to beat me, but in the meantime, I’m going to go spend time with my new boyfriend.”

Ruffnut laughed as she turned to head out. Time seemed to slow down for Astrid as she watched her leave. No, this wasn’t over. She wasn’t about to give up. She had to put Ruffnut in her place once and for all, but how? What could she do? Ruffnut was taking her time exiting, her fullness finally taking its toll on her. As she watched her, her stomach let out a loud gurgle, but not one of digestion. This was one of hunger. Suddenly, a burst of energy rushed through her. As she stood up, saliva flooded her mouth, and she knew what to do.

“Hey,” she called out, walking up to her, “I’m not done yet.”

     Ruffnut turned around, looking annoyed.

“Ugh, come on. Why don’t you just accept it? I beat you.”

“Not quite yet,” Astrid said, as she stood in front of her, leering up into her eyes,“I think have room left for one more big bite.”

Ruffnut’s previously held confidence was gone, and was replaced by fear as she looked down into her piercing gaze. Astrid put her hands on her shoulders, and opened her mouth, and a small torrent of saliva flowed from inside of it as she licked her lips. Her body broke into a cold sweat as Astrid’s grip on her shoulders tightened and her mouth widened. She watched her pupils dilate, like a dragon closing in on an unsuspecting sheep.

     “Um...Astrid, what are you-“

     GLOMPH!

Astrid knocked off Ruffnut’s helmet, which landed on the ground with a loud clang as she engulfed her entire head in her mouth. Ruffnut froze in shock as wasted no time in taking another big swallow. Ruffnut’s face was dripping with saliva, as it was smooshed inside of Astrid’s esophagus, which was opening up before her to allow her to swallow up her new meal. As the esophagus opened up, Ruffnut was blasted in the face with hot air, loud gurgles, and the scent of the meat that was already digesting in Astrid’s belly. With each swallow, she could feel her body getting crushed by the muscles of Astrid’s throat, which were almost deafeningly loud. Astrid in the meantime, was swallowing Ruffnut down as fast as she could. She tasted horrible, like she hadn’t bathed in weeks, and she was tearing up with her sour taste. She had to get her down as fast as possible. This was not a flavor she wanted to savor, so as soon as she swallowed, she would take a deep breath through her nose, a would give as big of a swallow as she could. Her belly muscles were relaxing, preparing themselves to stretch out once Ruffnut made her way inside. After a few more gulps, her head entered the stomach, and she was immediately splashed in the face by partially digested meat and hot stomach accidents.

     GULP! ULP! GULP! GLUP! ULP!

Swallow after swallow, Astrid sent Ruffnut into her belly, which by this point had greatly expanded to accommodate its meal. Astrid sat on the floor with her knees bent and her feet splayed to the side. Her skirt had broken off, and her shirt and leggings had been pushed out of the way to allow her engorged gut to be exposed. Her head was tilted up, gulping down the last of Ruffnut’s feet. She paused for a moment to feel her legs in her throat before giving one final swallow as Ruffnut’s feet disappeared into her mouth, formed one last bulge in her throat before completing their journey into her stomach. Astrid gasped as soon as she could, looking down at her enormous belly, which was bulging and groaning, writhing away at Ruffnut, packed tightly inside of her.

Ruffnut was squished inside of her. She had no room to move as the muscles of the stomach squeezed and rocked her body, covering her in acid, which was already dissolving her clothes. A loud belch shook the entire stomach, basting her face with more acid.

“BUUUOOOAAAARRRRRRRRP! Uuggggh, you tasted terrible. URRRP!”

Astrid patted her giant orb of gut with satisfaction of victory, but she soon stopped as the feeling of being so full took it’s toll on her. She felt like she’d throw up if she moved too much.

“However, OOOORRP!, I guess this means I won. I think this belly could definitely handle bearing the future of Berk if it can hold you.”

“Astrid,” the muffled pleas of Ruffnut came from within her stomach, “Please let me out! Please!”

“I don’t know. You going to try to put the moves on my boyfriend again?”

     “No! I promise I won’t!”

Astrid gave a slight smile as she rubbed her belly.

“I don’t know. I’m not sure I can trust you. I think I’ll digest you instead. I think Hiccup should massage my belly and help you hurry along in there.”

“Astrid, no! I’m sorry! Please let me out! Please!”

“BWOOARP! Fine, I’ll let you out. URP! However, if I find out you’ve tried anything with Hiccup, you’re going back in there permanently”

     “I promise, I won’t!”

     “Good.”

Astrid gave into the reflex she’d been fighting ever since she started swallowing the foul smelling girl, and started to gag. She rolled forward onto her belly, pushing down on the sides with her hands as gravity pushed her down. A flood of salvia fell from her mouth as she gagged. She took several deep breaths, closed her eyes, and pushed down as hard as she could, and almost instantly Ruffnut and the previous mound of meat she’d eaten found its way out of her stomach and onto the cold floor of the main hall. Ruffnut sprawled out on the floor in front of her. She was covered in slime and stomach acid, her clothes had been partially digested, leaving her some of her skin exposed. Astrid coughed and gasped, glad that her stomach was back to its original size. She shakily stood up, smiling as she saw Ruffnut in such a humiliating state.

“Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to spend some time with my boyfriend. I think I’ll have him give me a belly rub, too. URP! Eugh, I can still taste you.”

Astrid slowly walked out of the main hall, adjusting her shirt and leggings, and wiping away her drool to make herself look presentable.

Hiccup once again sat in his workshop above the blacksmith. Toothless was taking great interest in a new design for his tail that he was working on.

“What do think, bud? You like it?”

Toothless let out a cheerful noise, snuggling and kissing him with approval.

“Aw, that’s great. I’ll get to work on this one right away. We’ll be flying faster and farther in no time.”

He started to reach for some supplies, when Toothless turned his head towards the stairs. Astrid had appeared, a gentle smile on her face, though did look very tired.

     “Hey babe,” she softly cooed.

“Oh, hey Astrid, are...are you feeling okay? You don’t look so good.”

Astrid walked over to Hiccup, and leaned over the table to look at the plans Hiccup had been working on.

“Oh, I’m okay. Wow, these look really good. Is this what you’ve been working on?”

“Yep. Toothless and I will be able to fly better than ever once I finish this.”

     Toothless grunted in approval.

     “I’m sure you w-URP! Oooh.”

Both Hiccup and Toothless were a little taken aback by her sudden loud belch as they exchanged worried glances.

     “Are you sure you’re okay?”

“I ate a little too much earlier, and now that you mention it, I’m feeling a little sick. Can I lie down here,” she asked her eyes feeling heavy.

     “Yeah, of course.”

Hiccup helped Astrid to the cot he had set up in the workshop. He helped her lay down, but as he turned to sit down again, she grabbed ahold of his vest.

“Hiccup, could you lay here with me.”

Both of their faces turned bright red, but before Hiccup could respond, she pulled slightly, and he slowly and awkwardly cuddled next to her. She could hear his heart racing. She could tell how nervous he was. She positioned herself so Hiccup was spooning her from behind.

     “Thank you.”

     “Uh, of course.”

“Hey babe, my stomach hurts. Could you rub it for me?”

Hiccup slowly but surely worked his hand to her tummy, where he rubbed it in a slow, soothing manner. He could feel it gurgling as he rubbed it, as well as feeling Astrid’s breathing becoming heavier as she fell asleep. He gave her a kiss on the cheek, which she smiled at. Toothless settled down for a nap as well, all the while the peaceful glow of the twilight sun flowed in through the workshop window.
